oVertone hair colors are color-depositing hair masks that condition while you color. These Coloring Conditioners are curly-friendly, vegan, and cruelty-free. They're also made without peroxide, ammonia, bleach, phthalates, parabens, and PPDs.
The difference between Coloring and Daily Conditioners is that Coloring Conditioners are the first step, used for initial color application and reapplied every 1-2 weeks as needed. Daily Conditioners, on the other hand, are made to help maintain your shade in between color applications, used in the shower in 3 minutes or less.
The longevity of oVertone in your hair will depend on the porosity, texture, and health of your hair, along with UV exposure levels and how often you shampoo. As a semi-permanent hair color, oVertone may leave a subtle, permanent tint.
If you want to use a Pastel shade, we suggest pre-lightening your hair, even if you're a natural blonde. If your hair is dark brown or black and you want vivid results, you'll need to pre-lighten in order to achieve bold or noticeable color payoff.
Pastel shades are subtle for platinum/light blonde hair, Vibrant shades are bright fantasy colors for platinum to light brown hair, and Extreme shades are vivid for blonde to light brown starting shades. For Brown Hair, we offer rich, subtle colors for light to medium brown hair.
